Upgrading to the Future: Q & A with Jack Dunnigan |
We had the pleasure of speaking with Jack, who recently transitioned from a 2015 Lexor TS to a 2024 Plateau TS Pleasure-Way!
Q: What motivated you to upgrade from your 2015 model to the 2024? A: The 2015 model was beginning to feel outdated. The 2024 offers more capabilities, like a compression fridge and extra battery capacity, which the 2015 didn’t have. |
Q: Did you trade or sell your old van privately, and how was the value? A: The We traded it in, and it held its value reasonably well. |
Q: How have the new features in the 2024 model enhanced your travels? A: The It’s like night and day. The 2024 offers much more flexibility – no need for electric hookups anymore, which has been a game changer for us. |
Q: Which feature in your 2024 has benefitted you the most? A: The compression fridge stand out. Pleasure-Way has made everything work seamlessly together – the fridge, the 3,000-watt inverter, and the battery capacity. I’ll never forget the day we parked for lunch in 90 degree weather, and just flipped on the Truma AC without a worry. |
Q: Was the transitions between the models smooth? A: Pretty easy overall, though moving from the Promaster to the Sprinter required some adjustment. With less storage, we realized how much we carried that we don’t need! |
Q: Has the 2024 model lived up to your expectations so far? A: Completely! |

We have had the absolute pleasure of having Rosie on our team for the past 12 and a half years! Rosie is now on the road to retirement, and was the super visor of the finishing department, where they are responsible for hanging the cabinets, doors, trim, and the overall finishing work of cabinetry on Pleasure-Way’s. |
We had the delight in asking Rosie about her time here at Pleasure-Way, and she said “I have enjoyed working here, it has been a pleasure. I’ve met a lot of different people, and made a lot of new friends.” |
Thank you Rosie, for all of your hard work, dedication, and commitment to our wonderful team. You have made such a positive impact at Pleasure-Way. You will be missed! |
