When you go out for a morning coffee and come back to find someone else living your dream…. This couple was just outside enjoying some coffee, when they noticed an unexpected guest!

Three Generations. One Road. My Day in  a Pleasure-Way.

As the granddaughter of Pleasure-Way founder Merv Rumpel and daughter of CEO Dean Rumpel, I’ve grown up with vans, road trips, and the spirit of adventure in my DNA.

In this vlog, I hit the road in our 2025 Ontour 2.2 and travel one of the most iconic drives in Canada—the Icefields Parkway. From the towering peaks of Jasper to the turquoise waters of Lake Louise, I share a full day in my life on the road, complete with travel tips, hiking highlights, and what it really means to explore in a van that’s part of my family’s legacy.

Employee Spotlight

Meet Colin F, and his daughter Kya! Colin has been with Pleasure-Way since 2012, working in our vehicle prep department. Colin’s daughter Kya, is a very talented fastball player and starting pitcher, who has helped bring her team to Westerns in British Columbia!

Kya Fontaine played 44 games this season placing 1st in their league, and placed 2nd in two tournaments, 3rd in one, and 1st in the other. Kya pitched 159 strike outs, earned 101 hits, had 72 stolen bases and 4 home runs!

Going in to provincials they beat out every team to get to the finals. They lost by 1 point but, are still earning a spot for the two top teams in Saskatchewan for U13. With good coaches and athletic player they have a serious chance of winning Westerns in B.C. – Go Hustlers Go!

Summer Wrap Up Photo Contest

Here’s how to participate:
1. Capture your BEST moment this summer with your Pleasure-Way – (BBQ, around the fire, Independence day set up, outdoor games, etc.)
2. Submit your photo to social@pleasureway.com, with a brief description of the location and your name.

Enter for a chance to win a complimentary ONE YEAR membership to Harvest Hosts! This gives you exclusive access to a network of unique overnight stays at wineries, farms, breweries, and attractions across North America!

Here’s some important information:
1. This photo contest will run from August 1 – September 30
2. The last day to submit photos is September 30

3. The maximum number of photo submissions per person is 3 entries.
4. Pleasure-Way will choose the winner. The winner will be contacted by Pleasure-Way through email.
5. The winner will be announced on the first week of October, on our Instagram and Facebook. Keep your eye out!
